Clinical Philosophy

Joni’s clinical approach is rooted in the understanding that addiction and mental health disorders are chronic, relapsing conditions requiring more than symptom management. Sustainable recovery demands structure, environmental accountability, executive functioning support, and integration of therapeutic principles into daily life.

At Transcend Supportive Living, she ensures that mentoring, structured sober living, and transitional support services operate in alignment with evidence-informed addiction treatment standards. Her work reflects a belief that recovery is strengthened when clinical oversight extends beyond formal treatment settings into structured community environments.
