Our Mission
Transcend Supportive Living exists to help people build a stable foundation for long term recovery in everyday life. Our mission is simple. Create a calm, structured, elevated home environment where residents can develop routines, practice accountability, and consistently follow through on goals related to sobriety, mental health, work, school, and relationships.

What We Are Not
We are supportive housing, not a licensed treatment program. If a resident needs detox, inpatient care, or a higher level of stabilization, we will recommend the appropriate placement first.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Transcend Supportive Living a treatment center?
Transcend is supportive housing. We are not a licensed treatment program. If outpatient services are part of a resident’s plan, we can coordinate with consent and support structure and follow through.
Do residents work or attend school?
Yes. Many residents work, attend school, or pursue professional goals. Our structure supports real life responsibilities.
How do you handle privacy?
Privacy is central to our culture. We maintain professional standards, discreet admissions, and clear expectations for confidentiality within the home environment.
Who is supportive living best suited for?
Supportive living is best suited for adults who are medically stable and want a structured, accountable environment while rebuilding daily routines. Many residents are stepping down from residential treatment, PHP, or IOP and need consistent support as they transition back into work, school, family life, and independence. It can also be a strong fit for people who benefit from a stable living environment while continuing outpatient care and recovery-focused goals.
What makes Transcend different from typical supportive housing?
Transcend is designed to feel elevated while still being highly structured. We emphasize consistency, accountability, and a strong culture of recovery, paired with clear expectations and respectful support. Our model is built to complement clinical care, not replace it, and we coordinate with outside providers when appropriate.
Do you provide clinical treatment or therapy on-site?
Supportive living is not a substitute for clinical treatment. While we do not function as a medical facility, many residents actively participate in outpatient treatment, therapy, psychiatry, or recovery programming. When needed, we help support coordination with existing providers and can help families explore appropriate clinical options.
What level of structure do residents have day-to-day?
Structure is built into the day through routines, accountability, and community expectations. Residents typically follow established schedules that support recovery, responsibilities, and life skills. The goal is to create a stable environment that supports independence while keeping residents connected and supported.
Who is not a right fit for supportive living?
Supportive living is not a fit for someone who needs medical detox, inpatient stabilization, or 24/7 medical supervision. It may also not be appropriate if someone is actively using and unwilling to engage in accountability or community standards. If supportive living isn’t the right level of care, we will help guide you toward safer, more appropriate options.
Can residents work, go to school, or maintain outside responsibilities?
Yes. Many residents work, attend school, or manage family obligations while living with us. Supportive living is often used as a bridge between treatment and fully independent life. We aim to help residents build sustainable routines that support real-world responsibilities.
Can families be involved?
Yes. With resident consent, families can be involved in a supportive, appropriate way. We understand that rebuilding trust and communication is often part of the process, and we aim to keep expectations clear and professional for everyone involved.
How do we get started?
The first step is a quick conversation to understand what support is needed, timing, and overall fit. From there, we’ll outline next steps and help you determine whether supportive living is appropriate, or whether a higher level of care is recommended. Call (281) 205-0918 to speak with our team.
